Mother’s Day is always a heartfelt occasion in our homes, dedicated to celebrating the remarkable women who have shaped our lives with their strength and love.

This year, our communities across the UK came together to honour mothers, grandmothers, and mother figures with a day full of joy, nostalgic stories, and meaningful new memories. From traditional afternoon teas to creative themed parties, every home found a unique way to say thank you to the women we are so proud to care for.

Waterside

At Waterside, the day was all about showing appreciation for the mothers and mother figures who have guided us with endless patience.

Wealstone

Our residents and their families Wealstone enjoyed a beautiful afternoon tea, complete with delicious food prepared by our kitchen team.
The home felt truly festive thanks to generous donations of decorations, and it was a joy to see so many loved ones joining us for such a special afternoon.

Abbeywell Court

The atmosphere at Abbeywell Court was full of warmth and beautiful emotions as we took a moment to honour the purest form of love – motherhood. Our residents and staff celebrated the simple, precious connections that make this day so significant.

The Hawthorns

Our activity coordinator, Dawn at The Hawthorns Care Home was busy baking late into the night to ensure every resident had a special cupcake to enjoy.
Along with their sweet treats and flowers, the ladies also enjoyed a relaxing pampering session with nail care to add a bit of sparkle to their day.

Grays Court

Grays Court celebrated Mother’s Day by inviting family and friends to join us for a relaxed evening. Everyone settled in for a movie together, made complete with a delicious Chinese takeaway that made the celebration feel like a true night at home.

Eagle View

The morning at Eagle View was filled with music and smiles as we enjoyed a heartfelt performance by Kayley Cares on Youtube.

Hourigan House

At Hourigan House, we marked the occasion with an afternoon tea.
Residents shared stories over a spread of fresh cakes, strawberries, and a glass of fizz, making for a very merry and memorable celebration.

Holcroft Grange

We hosted a classic afternoon tea for Mother’s Day at Holcroft Grange, providing the perfect setting for residents to relax and catch up.
It was a lovely, simple way to bring everyone together and celebrate the special women in our Culcheth community.

Garswood House

Our chef at Garswood House went above and beyond to prepare a beautiful Mother’s Day lunch, which residents enjoyed with a glass of wine alongside their families. The festive mood continued into the afternoon with live music from Tony, who helped us keep the party going.

Kingfisher

At Kingfisher Care Home, celebrations started with a lovely trip to Christchurch, where Connie enjoyed a beautiful Mother’s Day service.
It was a wonderful morning out in the community, made even brighter when she was gifted a bunch of fresh daffodils to bring back to the home.
