Olympics Week at Holcroft Grange and Hourigan House

Holcroft Grange and Hourigan House residents and staff recently enjoyed a fantastic week of Olympic-themed activities, bringing excitement and joy to everyone involved. Here’s a look at the highlights from this special week

Javelin Egg and Spoon Race

At Holcroft Grange,  residents embraced the challenge of the javelin egg and spoon race, demonstrating remarkable skill and balance.

Sack Race

The sack race was a hit, with participants hopping to the finish line in a spirited display of enthusiasm and friendly competition.

Pass the Balloon

Teams worked together to pass the balloon race. To top off the day, everyone enjoyed a sweet treat from the ice cream van.

At Hourigan House, residents participated in a week-long celebration of the Olympic games. The week culminated in a closing ceremony for residents who were recognised and celebrated for their enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
