A Trip to Ireland from the Comfort of Grenville Court
In celebration of St. Patrick’s Day, residents at Grenville Court were treated to a magical Armchair Travel Day — with Ireland as their destination. The day began with residents boarding ‘Grenville Airlines’, passports in hand and boarding passes ready. Welcomed by friendly “air hostesses,” residents enjoyed a realistic flight experience complete with take-off shown on the big screen and in-flight refreshments served with a smile. The group toured the Guinness Storehouse virtually, complete with Guinness taste testers to bring the flavour of Dublin right to their seats. The celebration continued with Irish dancing on screen, cheerful flag-waving, and plenty of foot-tapping fun.
