Our homes came together to reflect, remember, and celebrate the courage and sacrifices made by the brave men and women who served. Here’s a glimpse of how we marked Remembrance Day:

Astbury Lodge

Everyone together enjoyed a beautiful morning filled with wartime songs, shared memories over tea, and wrote messages of remembrance on poppies placing them on the memories tree.

Grenville Court

The home held a moving service, followed by a buffet and canapes with live music from Sarah mai that transported everyone back to the 40s and 50s.

Turnpike Court

The residents got creative with some Remembrance Day arts and crafts, and everyone attended a meaningful church service.

Abbeywell Court

Residents observed a minute’s silence and crafted their poppy pins as a tribute to those who gave everything in service.

Crossways

Everyone worked together to create a Remembrance Board to reminiscence

Waterside

On Remembrance Sunday, they displayed the poppies, honoring the brave men and women of the British Armed Forces.

Ingersley Court

Residents at Ingersley Court painted popped for the Sunday service

Amberley House

They had a week full of activities from crafting poppies to enjoying the 50s and 60s choice of music and lots of dancing.
