Celebrating Margaret’s 100th Birthday at Waterside

This week at Waterside Care Home, had the absolute pleasure of celebrating the incredible milestone of our beloved resident, Margaret, or as we all know and love her, Aunty Peggy. The home held a wonderful party joined by her family, and everyone together made her day special.

From her early days as a factory worker and hairdresser to her time as a dinner lady, she has shown us the true meaning of hard work. Aunty Peg’s love for music has always been evident, with Andre Rieu being her absolute favourite. Her passion for music led her to be a bell ringer at her local church, bringing joy and melody to many. And who can forget her graceful moves on the dance floor? The Waltz holds a special place in her heart. But beyond all her accomplishments, Aunty Peg’s most cherished role has been that of a caring and devoted family member.
