A Year That Began with Connection, Creativity, and Community

The beginning of a new year is a moment to pause, reflect, and look ahead. Across our homes, 2026 was welcomed not just with celebration but with meaningful experiences that brought residents, teams, and communities together.

Healthy Start to the Year

The New Year also began with a strong focus on health and well-being. Residents at Amberley House and Astbury Lodge enjoyed a wonderful mix of movement, music therapy, and games.

Creating Moments That Matter

At The Lodge, residents welcomed the New Year with live saxophone music from Alan Hook, setting a positive and uplifting tone. Music continues to play an important role in our homes, supporting emotional well-being and encouraging social connection.

At Turnpike Court, celebrations began early with live entertainment from Charlie Churchill, while residents also expressed themselves through festive New Year artwork.

Reflection, Purpose, and Personal Goals

The New Year also offered space for reflection. At The Lakes, residents enjoyed flower arranging, board games, and a New Year’s lunch, followed by conversations about hopes and aspirations for 2026.

Wealstone residents explored New Year traditions from around the world, encouraging residents to reflect on their own goals while learning about different cultures and customs.

Residents at Eagle View and Waterside shared their hopes and resolutions for 2026.

Celebration Across Our Homes

From lively New Year’s Eve parties and sing-alongs to shared meals, dancing, and moments of reflection, residents and teams marked the occasion in ways that felt meaningful and uplifting.
