Hillcrest House is a purpose-built home situated in the panoramic views of the Looe Valley, Cornwall. The home offers comprehensive nursing, residential, dementia, respite, intermediate and palliative care with an understanding that the needs of an individual could change over time. Hillcrest House is a 65 bedded property spread over 2 floors; the rooms are fully furnished with en-suite facilities. The privacy of our en-suite rooms ensures residents maintain their own dignity whilst having the security of knowing a professional caring hand is always available.
Our beautifully appointed lounges and dining areas provide the focal point for making friends and socialising. Hillcrest is situated in level landscaped gardens close to the shops, post office and local churches. Most rooms also benefit from beautiful views across the adjoining farmland and open countryside to Looe Island, Rame Head, and beyond.
The home offers person-tailored care, alongside a full lifestyle programme to enable residents to live a healthy and happy life with us. We understand each person has their own specific needs and preferences, and we incorporate these choices into our care plans and daily routines.
Nursing Care at Hillcrest House
Hillcrest House Nursing Home has a highly qualified team of professional nursing staff, able to personally assess each resident’s nursing, medical and dietary needs, so ensuring that every resident receives the best possible nursing care and treatment available, tailored to their own medical requirements – 24 hours a day.
Hillcrest has a close relationship with the local surgery, with doctors making regular weekly rounds. Macmillan Service nurses also visit Hillcrest with further care provided by a physiotherapist, optician, chiropodist, and dentist. We provide nutritious, varied meals using fresh local produce with specialist diets catered for including vegetarian, diabetic, gluten-free, and low-fat.
