Littleport Grange and The Croft are situated in Littleport, a village in East Cambridgeshire on the Isle of Ely. The main building is a Victorian house built in the 1850s, the home has undergone extensions and refurbishments, tastefully re-designed whilst preserving the beautiful period architecture. Opened in 2019, The Croft is a newly built extension of the home, it is a single-storey purpose-built offering 21 spacious bedrooms.
Together, the home facilitates 77 bedrooms with ensuite facilities, including three large double bedrooms. It offers a flexible range of residential, dementia, respite, and palliative care as well as specialising in caring for individuals under 65. Additionally, the home features ample communal areas like lounges, dining areas, an activities room, a salon and multiple outdoor areas with seating for residents to enjoy and maintain a healthy, active lifestyle. Our gardens are the perfect place to spend warmer days with large lawns surrounded by trees, a patio area, and a memorial Japanese garden.
In summer months, the home team organises meals in the garden and the grounds are used for relaxing, socialising and a meeting place for families when they visit to meet the residents. It is 4 miles from the historic City of Ely, 20 miles from Newmarket, and 25 miles from Cambridge city centre. There are lots of historic attractions nearby ranging from Fenland Museums, Ely Cathedral, Anglesey Abbey, and Sandringham Estate in Norfolk.
