About Lakelands
Lakelands Care Home is a purpose-built home located in Wigan, Cheshire. The home provides a flexible range of residential, dementia, palliative, and respite care with an understanding that needs can change over time.
It is spread over two floors with 40 bedrooms out of which seven feature ensuite facilities. Our qualified team provides person-tailored care, focuses on residents’ well-being with recreational and therapeutic activities, and supports residents while maintaining their independence as much as possible.
Lakelands has plenty of comfortable and spacious communal areas for residents to relax during the day like lounges, dining rooms, a salon, an activities room, an outdoor terrace and landscaped gardens with seating. The home is close to local attractions to spend a day like Haigh Hall Country Park, Wigan Park and local shops.
