About Greenacres

Located in Wigan, Greenacres offers a range of care including residential, dementia, respite, and palliative care. We provide 24/7 person-tailored care whilst trying to maintain the independence of residents to make their own choices wherever possible. Greenacres features 40 bedrooms with a choice of en-suite facilities available. Our bright and airy bedrooms are fully furnished, and we encourage residents to bring their own belongings to decorate their living spaces and make them their own.

The home offers a homely ambience with a choice of communal spaces including lounges to relax, watch television or socialise with other residents during the day. The comfortable dining spaces offer a perfect dining experience with home-cooked meals served fresh and hot for residents to enjoy together. There are other pleasant spaces too like a salon to enjoy treatments from visiting professionals, and an activities room with a varied activity programme. The home has a beautiful garden with seating areas to enjoy outdoor activities and relax under the sun in the months of summer.

The home is situated close to local amenities and shops in the village. Greenacres Village has an array of local restaurants, pubs, and other shops to spend a day in the community. We aim to enhance the overall experience for our residents with person-tailored care, comfortable living spaces, and activities programme to enable residents to live fulfilled lives with us.
