About Roseway House
Roseway House is located in Jarrow, close to the historical Viking centre, the coastal town of South Shields and local transport links and a hospital. Roseway provides a flexible range of care services, including nursing, residential, dementia, palliative and respite care, with the understanding that the needs of your loved one might change over their time with us.
The purpose-built home, split over two floors with 48 en-suite rooms. It offers a warm, homely environment for you or your loved one.
Roseway has multiple lounge and dining areas for residents to relax during the day, as well as smaller lounges for families and friends to visit and spend quality time. Outside, the home offers a large landscaped garden to enjoy on warmer days and residents and families are welcomed to join the intergenerational gardening group ‘Acorns & Oaks’.
The committed team of staff places emphasis on resident well-being, going above and beyond to ensure each resident’s needs are met. The dedicated activities team tailors activities for each resident, taking into account likes, dislikes and previous hobbies. Roseway has close ties with the local community, helping build relationships both internally and externally, ensuring residents at Roseway live joyous and fulfilled lives with us.
