Additional services available to residents include a hairdresser who visits once a week and newspaper and magazine deliveries, which are arranged through a local newsagent. These are charged on a weekly basis as used.

Activities at Ingersley Court are organised by the activity co-ordinator with the involvement of the care teams. These are designed to match residents’ interests and include a range of activities, such as hand massage and manicure, arts and crafts, bingo, dominoes, one to one relaxation, reminiscence, quizzes, boat trips on the Macclesfield Canal, coffee mornings, sing-a-longs, karaoke, visiting singers/organists, tombola’s, clothes parties and birthday parties.

Ingersley Court is bright, cheerful and very clean. The staff are wonderfully kind, patient and considerate to the resident's needs and each person is treated with respect. My home is in Canada and I am greatly reassured now concerning my mother's care and well being.

I was delighted on my visit to my Nana to see how happy and well cared for she is. She gave us a full tour and introduced us to all her friends and staff. Was delighted to see the open door policy as she felt comfortable popping into both the staff office and the managers office to say hello. Her room was cosy and personal. The home was spotless and the care staff were great and she clearly had good connections. She told us about the regular activities and that she had been asked to get up to sing by the artist on her birthday, which she loved being a singer. The lounge had a lovely cosy and relaxed atmosphere with residents happily chatting or reading with a cup of tea. Nana says the food is lovely. From what Nana told us and what we saw for ourselves, this is a caring happy home. Thanks to "the lads" and "the lasses" equally for their patience and care and the management for making mum and me feel welcome. It meant a lot to us.

Mum has been here for 6 months during which time her health and well-being has improved immensely. We are very pleased with her all round care and attention. Mum is very happy here.

Make sure batteries are in my mums hearing aid, it is working, and she has it in. Also to please make sure she has clean clothes every couple of days as my mum's dementia is changing as she tends to put the same clothes on again. Really pleased with the care, they do a brilliant job.
