My name is Janice Knock I have been the registered home manager since 2007, and have worked at Duncote Hall since 1987 when Duncote Hall was opened
Duncote Hall is set in 8 acres of well tendered gardens, the property its self is a manor house with an extension built in 1987 in keeping with the original property.
Duncote Hall caters for all aspects of care including residential, dementia, respite and palliative care.
All rooms have an en-suite and enjoy a lovely view of the gardens.
We pride ourselves on our excellent food and choices. The meals can be taken in the individuals own rooms or in our tastefully decorated dining room. Residents are able to choose from the menu and are assisted by our dining room attendant
The home has a large conservatory which overlooks the grounds to the rear of the building, there are seating areas for all to enjoy around the grounds.
All care is provided by qualified nurses and trained care assistants. I am dedicated along with my very enthusiastic team to ensure that quality care is given at all times. A person-centred approach is adopted for all our residents. This facilitates a purpose for the residents’ days, and in turn increases their self worth and self esteem which enriches not only their lives, but that of their families and friends.
